This Week at the Library

July 16-20, 2018

The Parsons Public Library will have Story Hour for children 2 to 6 featuring “Pete the Cat: The Petes Go Marching” at 10 a.m. Monday and Wednesday.

The library will have Lunch Bunch at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Labette Health will provide lunch, and children will tell about the book they are reading and why they chose it. A craft will be created as well.

The library will show the anime movie “Princess Mononoke” at 2 p.m. Tuesday.

At 1 p.m. Wednesday, the library will offer a craft workshop on amplifying speaker and earbud holders for children ages 8-10. Children will need to bring a clean, dry potato chip tube and a clean dry Ice Breakers container.

At 2 p.m. Wednesday, the library will have Color Your Stress Away for young adults and adults. Supplies will be provided.

At 2 p.m. Thursday, adults will listen to Ronnie Burgess as he presents Mandolin Music.

The library will offer “Catch a Killer Job!” for adults and young adults at 5:30 p.m. Thursday.

The library will show a family morning movie, “Coco,” at 10 a.m. Friday and an adult afternoon movie, “Dames,” at 2 p.m. Friday.

We want to extend a thank you to our community for all the support you have shown. We appreciate everyone who showed up this afternoon to witness our flag ceremony.

The library will be closed Tuesday, January 16th due to inclement weather. Please be careful and stay safe.
